Foundation of Christian Counselling

This course establishes the theological, psychological, and practical framework for effective Christian counselling. Students learn that counselling is not optional in ministry; it is a biblical mandate rooted in Christ as the Wonderful Counsellor.

Counselling is revealed as a disciplined partnership aimed at guiding individuals toward an abundant life in Christ — addressing self-awareness, behavioural change, identity, crisis navigation, and emotional healing.
Students are equipped to:
• Understand the objectives and process of counselling.
• Distinguish between healthy and unhealthy motivations in helping others.
• Navigate crisis intervention wisely and biblically.
• Avoid common counselling pitfalls and role confusion.
• Bring structured hope, direction, and spiritual clarity in times of turmoil.
